![]() Tanaka “Koyuki” Yukio Japanese seiyuu: Namikawa Daisuk The Student He was given the nickname Koyuki by his childhood friend Izumi. Koyuki is a 14 year old who has recently become a big fan of rock. Koyuki is most known for his incredible singing voice, which seems to be what will lead Beck to fame. He has feelings for Izumi, but he is also starting to become attached to Maho. With being bullied at school, guitar lessons, insane swimming lessons, and trouble with love, Koyuki has a lot on his plate. |
![]() Minami Ryuusuke Japanese seiyuu: Ueno Yuma The Guitarist Ryuusuke’s past is somewhat unknown. It seems that he left Japan, and lived in America for sometime. He feels more comfortable speaking in English, and he’s an excellent guitarist. He put Beck together, following his dream of creating the world’s greatest band. He speaks often of his friend Eddie, DyBre’s lead guitarist. Like him, his guitar, Lucile, and his pet dog, Beck, are also quite mysterious. |
![]() Minami Maho Japanese seiyuu: Saiki Miho The Sister She is the straight forward, and sometimes pushy, younger sister of Ryuusuke. After hearing Koyuki sing, she convinced Ryuusuke to give Koyuki a chance in the band. Maho also has a nice singing voice, and often finds herself singing in Live Houses. Over time, she becomes attached to Koyuki. |
![]() Chiba Tunemi Japanese seiyuu: Ohata Shuntaro The Singer Chiba is hot headed and energetic. Ryuusuke jokes that the band needs Chiba to sike up the audience if nothing else. He is Beck’s lead vocalist, and tends to sing in the more fast paced songs. When he’s not singing he’s thinking about money and girls. He is also a master at karate. |
![]() Taira Yoshiyuki Japanese seiyuu: Nojima Kenji The Bassist Taira is an expert bassist. He only agreed to join Beck when he was sure there was a chance at stardom. He seems to be the most level headed of the bunch, and Ryuusuke’s second-in-command. |
![]() Sakurai “Saku” Hiroshi Japanese seiyuu: Nara Toru The Drummer Saku is an exchange student that quickly befriends Koyuki. The two become best friends, and Koyuki introduces Saku to the band. Saku is a huge fan of rock and has the ability to single out each performer from the rest of the band when they play. He can judge the player based on his performance compared to the rest of the group. He is a great drummer, and is also good at karate. |
![]() Ishiguro Izumi Japanese seiyuu: Maruyama Miki The Childhood Friend Koyuki and Izumi haven’t talked for years, but for some reason Izumi has come back into Koyuki’s life. She introduces him to DyBre’s music, and gets him involved in swimming. She is a swimmer, herself, and tricks Koyuki into meeting the expert swimming instructor, Saitou. She seems to have ever growing feelings for both Koyuki, as well as Ryuusuke. |
![]() Saitou Japanese seiyuu: Okite Porsche The Instructor Saitou-sensei is a man with two completely different personalities. Whether he is working at his printing shop or walking down the street, he is a mild mannered, friendly, closet pervert. However, when he is teaching swimming or guitar, he is an insane, strict, over acting, open pervert. All in all, he is a kind person that gives Koyuki both a job and free guitar and swimming lessons. Koyuki has great respect for Saitou. |
![]() Beck Japanese seiyuu: NA The Dog Beck is Ryuusuke’s pet dog. He seems to be the product of a bunch of various dogs sewn together. His past is a mystery, and it seems the Ryuusuke would like to keep it that way. He is very friendly, except with Koyuki for some reason. Chiba named the band after Beck. |
![]() Eiji Kimura Japanese seiyuu: NA The Rival Eiji was in the band, Serial Mama, with Ryuusuke. After many arguments with Ryuusuke, Eiji broke off declaring that he would make the world’s greatest band without Ryuusuke. Eiji has put together a small band to rival Beck, and he isn’t afraid to use dirty tricks to get ahead. |
