Long ago there was a Nine Tailed Demon Fox that terrorized Leaf Village. The villagers fought it off as best they could until the town Hokage came to destroy it. The Hokage gave his life in order to seal the demon away in the body of an infant child.

Naruto; a young, orphaned boy from Leaf Village, joins the ninja acadamy in hopes of fullfilling his dream. Naruto wants nothing more than to become the new Hokage and to prove to everyone that he's worth something. All his life no one has ever recognized him as anything. The whole town hates him for reasons he doesn't know. Naruto compensates by being the town trouble maker. If he can't get attention for doing something great, he'll get attention for being bad. What he doesn't know is that he is actually the boy that the Hokage sealed the demon inside. For this reason, the whole village hates him for having the demon inside him, instead of rejoicing that the demon is gone.

This is an anime filled with action and excitement as Naruto tries his hardest to prove himself to his sensei and his teammates, and especially to Sakura. Naruto loves Sakura, but Sakura hates him. Instead, she has her eyes on Sasuke who in reality hates them both. Naruto on the other hand hates Sasuke as well. Confused yet?

Lots of fighting and use of special abilities in this dramatic, action packed show. Check out Naruto and see Kakashi Sensei kick some major butt with his Sharingan eye. This is a highly recomended show for any anime fan.

Characters

Naruto Uzumaki Japanese seiyuu: Takeuchi Junko The Hopeful Hokage Naruto, the demon reincarnate himself, is the class clown. Always wanting attention he makes jokes and brags about the talent he thinks he has. His one desire is to become the fifth hokage. Naruto has a crush on Sakura...who in turn hates him and has a crush on Sasuke. Naruto is determined to beat Sasuke at anything.

Sasuke Uchiha Japanese seiyuu: Sugiyama Noriaki The Avenger Sasuke is only interested in becoming a ninja to get revenge on someone we know very little about. All we know from flashbacks is that this someone killed Sasuke's parents. Being of the Uchiha clan, Sasuke was born with the Sharingan eye ability. He can use his Sharingan to copy jutsus and ninja techniques.

Sakura Haruno Japanese seiyuu: Nakamura Chie The Intelligent One Always the top of the class when it comes to brains, Sakura is a combat genious. But when it comes to actual combat, she's not the number one choice to do the dirty work. She's always there to lend Kakashi Sensei a hand when it comes to explaining things to Sasuke and Naruto. She has her eyes on Sasuke, but despises Naruto.

Kakashi Hatake Japanese seiyuu: Inoue Kazuhiko The Sensei Kakashi is always showing up to the lessons late with really lame excuses like "I got lost on the road of life" when he was probably reading his dirty books. Kakashi also has the Sharingan eye and is known as "The Copy Ninja" because he's copied over 100 techniques.
