Two friends in dire need of money, and possesing bizzare hidden talents form their own business.
The GetBackers. Their motto, "If it's stolen, we'll steal it back. Retrieval specialists GetBackers."
They claim they can retrieve any lost item. And with a success ratio of (nearly) 100%, they're out on the streets with homemade signs looking for anyone who's lost anything.
Always in debt to the town cafe, their jobs never seem to pay enough.
We follow Ban and Ginji through their search for people in need of a retrieval service.
The clients ask for abnormal objects; memories, melons, a daughter; but the GetBackers will find it, no matter what it is.
They encouter many battles over the objects they seek and meet old friends along the way. New enemies are always just around the corner and who knows when a friend may come in handy.
A clever combination of comedy and action, one can only grow to love the GetBackers.
