Alucard
The Vampire King
Alucard is one of the original vampires. He is practically immortal since he can turn his entire body into a huge flock of bats and reform himself. He can also unlock special mental gates to allow him to turn into his animal familiar. In this form alucard is all but unstoppable. Alucard has been a part of the Hellsing agency since before Integra took over. He has been souped up from generations of study.

Seras Victoria
The Police Girl
Seras Victoria was in the wrong place at the wrong time when she met Alucard. Held by a vampire as a hostage, Alucard killed them both and brought Seras back to life by biting her. Now Seras is a vampire as well and fights alongside her Master Alucard to destroy other vampires and zombies.

Sir Integra Wingates Hellsing
The Organization Head
Integra is in charge of the Hellsing agency now that her father has died. She found Alucard in the basement of the Hellsing Headquarters building all tied up and seemingly dead. A drop of blood fixed him up in no time, and now Integra controls him as a valued part of the Hellsing team.

Walter
The Butler
Despite his looks, Walter is actually an excellent fighter. He typically serves as Integras butler, but when the time comes he whips out a fist-full of special strings and cuts the enemy to ribbons before they even know what's coming.

Alexander Anderson
The Paladin
Anderson is Alucards arch rival. He is a Paladin for the Iscariot Section XIII, and thinks that the Hellsing agency is full of sinners. He fights "in the name of God" with a pair of long blades.
