Ayumu Narumi's older brother had disappeared without a trace. The only information he left behind was that he was going to search for the Blade Children. Who, or what the Blade Children were, not even he was sure. Now, Ayumu lives with his brother's wife, Madoka. Madoka is a detective for the police and works with her partner to solve mysteries. But after a girl from Ayumu's school falls off a balcony in what seems like a suicide, Ayumu begins to stick his nose into his sister-in-law's cases. He uses his amazing ability of deductive reasoning and logic to solve the cases before any other.
But something still puzzles even him. Who are these Blade Children that his brother spoke of? Ayumu is determined to discover the secret and how a series of murders are related to them. When he meets face to face with the Blade Children themselves, will the outcome prove fatal?
