Full Metal Panic!
Author: Kizzy
Rating: 4/5
Episodes:

Full Metal Panic! is definatley one of the more interesting animes I've ever seen. After seeing episodes 1-24, I could hardly classify it in any genre. Now that I've finished it, I know that it fits just about every one of them...

FMP!'s story is mainly based around a high school female, Kaname Chidori, who is *believed* to be one of the "Whispered." A secret terrorist organization forms a plan to kidnap this girl because to this rumour so that they may find out if it is true, and at the same time an independent anti-terrorist group called "Mithril" sends perhaps their best soldier, Sosuke Sagara and two other operatives in to protect her.

Sosuke becomes a transfer student at Kaname's school, and constantly shadows her, sneaking around keeping a watch over her like some sort of stalker. When Kaname catches him, he attempts to pretend as it was just a "coincidence" .. which really gets on Kaname's last nerve, as she not a very patient girl. The thing is... no matter how hard they try to pretend they don't like each other... they have secret feelings that they can't get out.

I loved FMP!, and I'm sure you would too if you're a fan of mecha-animes that are mixed with comedy and mystery... such as in Martian Successor Nadesico. One of the better things about this anime was that it wasn't so much aimed for just the male audiences, however female viewers beware of many cases of what they call "fanservice."

Overall, I give Full Metal Panic! a 4/5 rating and highly to recommend it to hardcore and not-so-hardcore anime fans alike.
