Trigun is set in the future where humans have been forced out of Earth to find another planet, but an accident is made and all the remains of Earth's inhabitants now have to live on an desert planet with two sun's. Humans have now turned this planet into a future wild west where there is total regard for human life's and death and gun fighting is everywhere.
Trigun follows the story of Vash the Stampede an outlaw who unlike most heroes' who are after revenge he goes out of his way to save people and believes no one has the right to take anyone's life. The problem is Vash has a $$60 billion double dollar reward on his head after he destroys one of the seven city's and all of it's inhabitants (not meaning to of course), his name strike's fear into almost every human on the planet
Two women called Milly and Meryil from the bernardelli insurance company have to follow Vash and assess the real damage caused by the outlaw. At first they don't believe that this bumbling idiot is Vash the stampede, with a love of doughnuts is the legendary outlaw, but as the story progresses they realise that he is the man who can resolve any situation the man who no one can hit, and the man who is almost invincible.
As the story progresses the story of Vash is revealed and his dark past with it. Vash also meet's Nicholas D Wolfwood a very cool guy who becomes Vash's good friend (I wont tell you to much about him it will ruin it for people who haven't seen it.) and together go on a lot of fun adventures.
I would say this is something for everyone but this series has so much death, children dying, mothers dying and entire town's being wiped out, this is quite a violent anime not in the scence of blood just all the death. This adds to the sadness of this series especially as you see so many people Vash care about die.
This is a very impressive anime that has comedy, action, romance and very good characters with a very original story. This anime is in my opinion (and lot's of others) one of the best anime series to date and is right up there with Cowboy Bebop maybe even better. Thanks for reading my longest ever review.
